They suggested buying my car for $1000, a car I bought for $13000 a year ago.<\/p>\n
I bought my Nissan Altima 2015 from Nissan Somersworth, NH, about a year and a half ago, and it has been a nightmare. Two days after purchasing the car, I discovered the key didn’t work. Despite having a limited warranty, they refused to cover the cost and made me pay $200 for a new key after a long discussion, which was outrageous considering I had just bought the car. When I wanted to return the car, they said they’d deduct $1000 if I got another car from them. About a month later, my car started shaking violently, with weird vibrations that made me very concerned. Suspecting a transmission issue, I immediately contacted them and got an appointment. During the test drive, I insisted there was a hard shake, but the agent dismissed my concerns, saying I might be sensitive and that some Nissan Altima 2015 models have this issue. They didn’t acknowledge any transmission problem. A few months later, when summer started, I noticed the AC wasn’t working well. I went back to Nissan Somersworth and told them I still felt the shake. They checked the AC but again ignored my concerns about the transmission. Now, my transmission has suddenly failed. I knew there was an issue from the start and believe they knew about it too when they sold me the car. They likely did something to turn off the check engine light before the sale. If they had believed me last year, I could have used my limited warranty to repair it. Now, I have to pay $5300 to replace the transmission. They suggested buying my car for $1000, a car I bought for $13000 a year ago. This dealership is pathetic and untrustworthy. I’m a student and can’t afford this huge expense.
